Liverpool players caught playing basketball during recent training session

Liverpool players caught playing basketball during a recent training session at Melwood ahead of the clash against Manchester United.

Liverpool is set to face Manchester United in the next Premier League clash as the international break comes to an end and the club football is back. In return, the Premier League has its fiercest rivalry to offer.

The Reds share a very intense enmity with Manchester United and every fixture between them is full of entertainment. However, in recent times this particular tie has been regressed because of Manchester United’s current squad situation.

On the other hand, Liverpool is seeing one of the most glorious days in their history and are one of the most dominant squads in Europe right now. So, there is a vast difference in the level of both sides.

So, it seems Liverpool players are not as hyped up as they used to be before any tie against Manchester United. Liverpool had its first full team training session on Thursday after all the players returned from their national duties.

The training session looked to be a light one, and the Reds were seen playing basketball after the training to relax amidst the hectic schedule of the footballing season.

Gini Wijnaldum shared the picture of his teammates playing basketball on social media, which was later posted by Liverpool’s official twitter handle.

Jurgen Klopp’s side will go to the Old Trafford with a 100% record in the previous 8 league fixtures, as they have won all the last Premier League matches this season and yet to drop a single point.

Thus, Liverpool sees themselves 8 points clear at the top of the table after the second-placed Manchester City lost to Wolves to increase the gap. Meanwhile, Liverpool doesn’t have a great record at the Old Trafford, hence it remains to be seen whether the reds will be able to improve it or not.
