Liverpool Transfer News: The English midfielder is set to leave Liverpool for free as Leicester City makes advances for him amidst contract expiration.

Adam Lallana’s time at Liverpool is on the verge of an end, with just last few months left in his contract with the club. Lallana is a subject to a free transfer this summer.

According to a report by the BBC, There are no talks taking place between the European champions and the 31-year-old over a new deal and he will be available on a free transfer.

Meanwhile, there are reported talks between Leicester City and Lallana and are expected to reach an agreement, as he is sure to leave the Merseyside club after this season.

The English International joined Liverpool back in 2014 from Southampton when Brendan Rodgers was the in charge of the Reds. Now, he is the manager of Leicester City and desires to reunite with the midfielder.

On the other hand, even Lallana would be eager to leave Liverpool for more minutes on the field. this season, the 31-year-old player has played 13 times for Liverpool in the league this season, scoring once.

His only goal this season was against Manchester United when his equaliser maintained the club’s unbeaten record. Lallana’s time at Anfield has been hampered by injuries.

In the past two seasons but he was a key part of Jurgen Klopp’s side in the early days of the German manager’s reign. He also helped Liverpool to achieve their first Champions League in 14 years.

Lallana’s time at Liverpool is surely on an end, but he played a crucial role in the six years time at the club and has scored 18 times in 126 league games for the club.
