Liverpool Transfer News: Jürgen Klopp plots a €50m move for Dynamic Real Madrid midfielder as Liverpool aim to bolster their side ahead of their upcoming football campaign.

Liverpool have only made one signing this transfer season. Sepp Van den Berg from PEC Zwolle for a confirmed fee of £1.3m. Reports from Spain though, indicate that Jürgen Klopp is very well on his way to bring in another addition to the European Champions squad.

Various Spanish Media outlets, including Marca, have reported that Liverpool are interested in signing Real Madrid’s Dani Ceballos. Arsenal and Liverpool are also in the race for the €50 million rated 22-year olds signatures. However, Sport have reported that Liverpool are the front runners at the moment.

Liverpool’s Xabi Alonso

Liverpool’s bid for the midfielder has generated the most interest from Real Madrid. That is because The Reds are reportedly open to include a buy-back option as part of the transfer deal.

Liverpool were initially hesitant to include the clause. Jurgen Klopp being a huge fan of the midfielder’s dynamism however has helped facilitate talks between the two sides.

Dani Ceballos recently helped Spain to glory at the Under-21 Championships. The youngster is keen to leave the Bernabeu for more first-team football this coming season. The youngster is studying the proposals he has received so far.

Jurgen Klopp ‘wants’ the 22-year-old and his side are ‘willing to bet heavily’ on  Ceballos, who has previously been compared to Xabi Alonso. Should Liverpool manage to bring the young Spanish international into their fold, Klopp’s side is sure to add class and stability to their midfield.
