Lucas Torreira goal vs Tottenham: The Uruguayan midfielder netted his first goal for Arsenal in style.
Arsenal beat Tottenham 4-2 in the season’s first North London derby. Lucas Torreira scored his first goal and celebrated in style as Arsenal enter into top-4 with the win.
Earlier, Tottenham led at halftime after two quickfire goals from Eric Dier and Harry Kane. However, Aubameyang scored with a sweet curling strike to bring Arsenal level in the game.
Alexandre Lacazette gave Arsenal the lead soon after the equalizer, as Lloris dived but failed to reach to the ball. Lucas Torreira gave Arsenal a fourth goal after he made a quick run inside the box to create ample space.
Yet, the angle was tight for Torreira, but the midfielder made a composed finish to secure the win for Arsenal.

Yep, I’m done. Not sure I’ve seen the Emirates like this since Arshavin vs Barca. Welbeck v Leicester maybe. Absolutely rocking.
Lucas Torreira, what a player, what a finish, what a celebration.

Emirates absolutely rocking after that. Best performance, best match for a long, long time. Lucas Torreira outstanding – finally filling the hole left by Vieira 13 and a half years ago.
And always satisfying to thump the team with no stadium. Really well played #Arsenal #NLD pic.twitter.com/J9HedDp8FX— Stephen Farrow (@StephenJFarrow) December 2, 2018
Just a daily reminder that 22 year old Lucas Torreira was signed for a grand total of £26m paid evenly over the space of three years, with a weekly wage of £50,000. Have a nice Sunday.
