Luis Suarez goal Vs Getafe: Watch Marc Andre Ter Stegen giving a wonderful assist to the Urugyuan International to break the deadlock.
Barcelona had a comfortable win against Getafe in the 7th round of La Liga, after the Catalans scored 2-0 making their first away victory in recent months.
Barcelona had struggled without Lionel Messi recently but with the absence of Ansu Fati, it seemed that Ernesto Valverde’s side will not be able to hand anything in Madrid.
However, Barcelona ended up winning the match, making it their second successive win in the league, after a rough start in the league. Amidst all of this, Luis Suarez has once again proved his lethality at the age of 32.
The Uruguayan International scored a wonderful goal against Getafe in the 41st minute to break the deadlock. Marc Andre Ter Stegen rushed out from his goal after he saw a potential threat coming on his way.
The German International set the ball clear at the other end of the pitch, where Suarez was standing away from all defenders, as Getafe’s defence was set very high on the pitch at that moment.
The 32-year-old then rushes forward towards the goal, chipping it over David Soria to place the ball inside the net to make it 1-0 before the end of the first half.

In the second half, Barcelona doubled their lead after Junior Firpo scored his first goal for Barcelona, and making the win easy for the Catalan giants in order to earn three points.
With this Barcelona certainly has picked up a form to face Sevilla in the next round of the Spanish league. Although, they have another problem to deal with now, as Clement Lenglet was shown the red card in the dying minutes of the game, which means, he will be not present in the next match against Sevilla, leaving inexperienced Jean-Clair Todibo to fill in the boots.
