Luis Suarez hattrick in El Clasico: The Barcelona striker made an interesting remark before the game against Real Madrid.

Valverde’s side had a shaky start to their league campaign, where they went winless for four matches before the recent international break. Luis Suarez scored a hattrick, which made him the first Barcelona player not named Messi to score a hattrick against Real Madrid since 1994. However, a video has emerged after the game in which Suarez made interesting comments over his choice of goals.

The Uruguayan featured in a video for FC Barcelona, where the interviewer asked him, “What would you rather prefer, a last-minute goal or a hattrick?”

Suarez replied, “hattrick,” before having a chuckle.

The video was shot three days before the El Clasico, and Suarez did indeed score three goals in an utter domination over Real Madrid at Nou Camp later in the week.

There were a lot of speculations over Barcelona’s probable dip in performance after Lionel Messi’s injury, but the Catalan side rose to the expectations of its fans. They registered convincing victories over Inter Milan and Real Madrid, and Valverde now aims to capitalize on their form as they play in the Copa Del Rey opener on Wednesday.
