Uruguayan hit man Luis Suarez is having a terrible season at the Nou Camp. After being a pivotal part of the Barcelona side over the last couple of seasons, Suarez has suffered a shocking dip in form.

The loss of Neymar over the summer affected Suarez deeply as the striker lost one of his closest companions on and off the pitch. The Brazilian had forged a superb understanding with Suarez and the pair were instrumental in Barcelona’s success over the years.

But things have gone downhill this season as Suarez has looked lethargic and slow during the matches. He suffered a knee injury in the beginning of the season which has also been a big factor in his lack of productivity.

Some believe that the work rate that Suarez has put in his career has finally taken a toll on his body. Others feel that the striker does not have the full confidence of the manager who is already planning on replacing Suarez.

And now it is being reported that Suarez has several offers to leave the Nou Camp, with his former club Ajax being one of the most attractive options.

Suarez was brilliant for Ajax during his time in Holland and will no doubt be interested in returning to the place where he first made his name in Europe.

The lethal striker has also informed Messi about his offers from abroad, as the striker is considering his future away from Barcelona.

This is what the Barcelona manager has to say about his number nine,

“We talk a lot about Suarez lately, but I’m pleased to have him because of how he works and all the things he gives us,” he said.

“He is a killer.

“Despite the fact he’s not scoring lately, he always has chances, [against Sevilla] too. And that is a good sign.”
