Twitter reactions on Manchester City completing the domestic treble following a 6-0 victory over Watford.
Manchester City completed the historic domestic treble for the first time in the history of English men football following a gigantic 6-0 victory over Watford in the FA Cup final. This victory equals the biggest ever victory in the FA Cup final, thereby proving their total ascendancy this campaign.
First-half goals from David Silva and Raheem Sterling gave a very tough hurdle to clear for Javi Garcia’s side. But, the Citizens were ruthless in their mentality until the final whistle. Kevin De Bruyne added the third through a counter-attack, and Jesus was the next man to get on the score sheet with more than 20 minutes left.
Raheem Sterling scored twice to complete a mesmerising hat-trick and domestic treble. It was a fabulous performance from Pep Guardiola’s men after Watford showed early signs of promise in the game.
Manchester City will now take on Liverpool in the Community Shield before the season kick-off.
We shall look at the Twitter reactions on Manchester City’s 6-0 mauling over Watford.
Man City utterly dominant again. It’ll take something special for anyone to be close to them for a few seasons now. They’re a machine.

FT Man City 6-0 Watford. City utterly ruthless in completing a historic first domestic treble in the men’s game. Heurelho Gomes was deliberating over being a pastor or an agent when retiring after the game. Think that might’ve decided it..
