Man Utd news: Manchester United put massive price tag on Paul Pogba amidst Real Madrid interest

Man Utd news: Manchester United put massive price tag on Paul Pogba amidst Real Madrid interest as the Spanish club looking for reinforcements.

After struggling this season, Real Madrid are set to bolster their squad with mega transfer deals. Hence, speculations of Pogba being the focal target of the Spanish capital club was everywhere.

On the other hand, Manchester United similar to last season are reluctant to send the French international away from Old Trafford, as they feel that the 26-year-old is their best asset. Meanwhile, Daily Mail has reported that insiders in the club believes, United will be ready to listen Real Madrid, if they offer above £160 million.

Whilst, Manchester based club is assertive to keep the player, Paul Pogba is being criticized by the fans for his recent dip in form, which has costed seven defeats to Manchester United in last 10 clashes.

Los Blancos are desperate to land quality players as a part of summer transfer window rebuild. Zidane since his return has already signed Eder Militao and Luka Jovic to bolster the squad for the next campaign.

Presently, Paul Pogba have two years left on his contract with the Red Devils and the latter have the option to extent it for another year. On the other hand, according to rumours, the French International is unhappy in Manchester as he will probably spend another season out of the Champions league if he stays.

Probably, Manchester United would agree a deal after such a colossal fee as Solskjaer will be in the market for two central midfielders this summer window and he insisted on Friday that new signings will not be put off by the prospect of the Europa League. Therefore, a certain source of money will be required to buy quality players in such an inflated market, which can be acquired by Pogba’s sale.

What’s next for Manchester United

The Red Devils’ only motivation to compete in this season is their slight possibility of ending into the top 4 with two games remaining. On the other hand, Solskjaer would be looking at new reinforcements for achieving some success next season.
