Man Utd news: Manchester United reveal two players they want from Real Madrid in Paul Pogba swap

Man Utd news: Manchester United reveal two players they want from Real Madrid in Paul Pogba swap amidst club overhaul.

Real Madrid are planning to land five mega stars to Santiago Bernabeu as Zinedine Zidane wants to bolster up squad for next season. The early exit from the Champions league and probable 3rd place finish in La Liga is compelling the Spanish club to look for better prospects in the market.

Therefore, Paul Pogba has been the focal target of Los Merengues this summer amid several other signings. In order to sign the French International, Real Madrid need to splash their bank as Manchester United have set a colossal price tag of £160 million for the 26-year-old midfielder.

However, since Zidane needs to secure more players, he might utilize his key players in order to sign his compatriot. Thus, giving Manchester United the right opportunity to demand the desired players.

The Red Devils are keen on getting the services of Toni Kroos and Raphael Varane. The German International have been abysmal this season but fulfills the requirements of Ole Solskjaer in the midfield.

On the other hand, Varane is one of the saving graces in the underwhelming Real Madrid squad this season but Los Vikingos might sacrifice their key players to achieve the services of skillful Frenchman in midfield.

If Solskjaer lands Varane to old Trafford, it will probably bolster the Red Devils defense, which is currently struggling.

However, landing Varane and Kroos will be a difficulty as these players have been playing in the top tournaments since a significant period of time and Manchester United missing out on the Champions league may prevent these players’ arrival.

Looking at other alternatives, which Los Blancos might be ready to provide is Gareth Bale but the Manchester based club are not keen to sign the injury prone player.

What’s next for Manchester United?

Chances for the Champions league qualification are slim for the Red Devils, yet they would be looking forward to secure three points against Huddersfield to fight for the top4 spot till the final day.
