Man Utd Transfer News: David Moyes to target two Manchester United flops if West Ham survives

Man Utd Transfer News: David Moyes to target two Manchester United flops if West Ham manages to survive the relegation this season.

Ex-Manchester United manager is set to target two Red Devils if the London based club manages to survive the relegation this season, as they are lurking in the lower half of the table.

According to the Independent, Moyes has chosen Phil Jones and Jesse Lingard to bolster the ranks of West Ham, Considering, the current squad situation at Manchester United, both players don’t seem to have any future at the club.

Bruno Fernandes has cemented his place at the number 10 role, giving no space to Lingard in the team, whereas Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof are the guaranteed CB pair, and Eric Bailly is the third choice center-back giving o space to Jones.

Therefore, Moyes probably sees them as well-suited squad players at cheap prices to add the squad depth for the seasons coming ahead.

Good opportunity to fund for Jadon Sancho

Manchester United since long have been linked with Jadon Sancho but have been delaying talks in an attempt to reduce the prices. Honestly, this is the best opportunity for Manchester United to go for Sancho as currently, they are the only club that can afford him.

If Manchester United delays this signing for later, then other clubs will probably step in to compete, hence this is the right time. So, if Jones and Lingard are sold, they can at least fetch €30-40 million.

Sancho’s current valuation is above £100 million and Borussia Dortmund is not willing to lower the price by a cent (though they might since they recently showed losses).

Hence, Manchester United should sponsor the move with the sale of these two players, and fulfill the requirement of a right-wing in the squad.
