Man Utd transfer news: Manchester United have made a six-man shortlist for the summer transfer window.
Manchester United faced a crushing 3-0 defeat in the Champions League to Barcelona. The side lost the tie 4-0 on the aggregate scoreline, with Lionel Messi scoring a brace, while Coutinho scoring a stunner to put the second leg to the bed.
Solskjaer stated in the post-match conference that Manchester United will be making a “couple of signings” in the summer transfer window.
The performance of various Manchester United players – significantly in the defence, have been below par for quite some time.
As Manchester United prepares for a squad overhaul, ESPN has reported that the club has made a six-man shortlist for the summer.
Man Utd transfer news: Six-Man shortlist
Manchester United have reportedly finalized a six-man shortlist to bring in the summer. ESPN has reported that Solskjaer has taken a big step towards getting his targets for the summer transfer window.
Kalidou Koulibaly has been a primary target for Manchester United for a few months now – and he is included in the list. Another centre-back, Raphael Varane is the part of the list, due to the doubts over his future at Real Madrid.
Jadon Sancho and Declan Rice are also being monitored by Manchester United, as Solskjaer intends to build his team around the English core.
Saul Niguez and Aaron wan-Bissaka are also part of the list. The latter has been a key player for Crystal Palace so far, and is the target for various Premier League sides.
Whether Manchester United can secure these targets is a debate for the future – Solskjaer realizes that the club is in a dire need of an overhaul after the humbling at Camp Nou.

Solskjaer’s real work starts now, as United have some big decisions to make – and even big discussions they’d have about players they want to keephttps://t.co/c7160Lyb1s
