Man Utd Transfer News: Red Devils expected to capture sensational midfielder next week according to reports from Italy.

Manchester United have identified Sporting Lisbon’s Bruno Fernandes as the ideal candidate to man the middle of the park. The negotiations though, have proven to be a tricky affair. However, Italian football journalist Tancredi Palmeri believes that United will be successful in their pursuit of the Portuguese. In fact, he has gone so far as to claim that Sporting Lisbon themselves are expecting United to seal the deal.

If the transfer goes through, Fernandes will become the third player to join Manchester United this transfer season after the arrivals of Daniel James from Swansea and Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Crystal Palace.

Bruno Fernandes came into the radar of top European clubs after hitting 31 goals for Sporting last season. The attacking midfielder help his side finish third in the Primeira Liga table. He was also part of Portugal’s successful Nations League campaign.

Solskjaer will hope that Bruno Fernandes will continue his rich vein of form in the English Premier League and will do so in the Manchester’s red jersey.
