ElGolDigital, a Spanish outlet reports that Manchester United are interested in signing the Spanish midfielder, should he leave the club. Along with United, Chelsea and Paris Saint Germain are also monitoring the Spanish footballer.

The change at the helm of Real Madrid might be interesting for Spain’s midfielder. The reports claims that Asensio is eager to see if he is effectively involved in Julen Lopetegui’s plans for the next season.

Asensio has become an important member of Real Madrid’s first team this season, after joining the club in 2014. After spending two years on loan at Mallorca and Espanyol, Asensio made a place in the side and established himself as a regular figure in the midfield, and even as a winger.

Last season, he appeared in 32 La Liga games, scoring 6 goals. He made a total of 53 appearances for Real Madrid scoring 11 goals in the 2017-18.

In his time at the club, he won a La Liga title and two UEFA Champions League titles, among other domestic and continental/inter-continental honours.

Meanwhile, Manchester United has already completed the signing of midfielder Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk, who is also currently with Brazil’s World Cup squad. United also signed Portuguese youngster Diogo Dalot from FC Porto.
