Manchester United leaked XI

Manchester United leaked XI: Jose Mourinho is set to investigate into how the United XI was leaked before the game against Chelsea.

Manchester United held Chelsea to a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Jose Mourinho’s side put on a heroic performance against the Blues, and were on the verge of securing three points when Ross Barkley scored in the final minute of the match to bring the score at level.

United endured a poor start to the campaign and are currently 9th in the league with only 14 points from 9 matches. The club has been in the headlines for controversies throughout the season.

The latest controversy surrounding the club is that of leaked line-ups. Daily Mail reports that Manchester United’s Premier League line-ups have been leaked twice this season, and Mourinho is furious.

Manchester United leaked XI:

According to Daily Mail, Jose Mourinho is set to probe investigation into how the club’s starting XI was leaked before the game against Chelsea. According to the English outlet, the Portuguese manager was furious to see his line up on social media after he woke up on match-day.

Earlier, Manchester United’s XI was leaked before the game against West Ham, which ended in a hopeless 3-1 loss for Mourinho’s side.

It is reported that only the players and the backroom staff knew about the playing XI for the game, and Maurizio Sarri and his staff gained insight into how United would set up after the line-up was leaked.

Manchester United, however, came out of Stamford Bridge with a point. It is the first time Mourinho hasn’t lost with his United side at Chelsea in the Premier League. The United manager was also appreciative about the fight shown by the players after the game.

What next?

Manchester United will play European giants Juventus in the Champions League at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.

After the delay to reach the stadium on time in their previous Champions League fixture at Old Trafford against Valencia, Mourinho has scrapped plans for a traditional pre-match stay at Lowry Hotel for the game.

The crowd at Old Trafford will be keen on welcoming former footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. The Juventus player has played once at Old Trafford since leaving Manchester United, for Real Madrid in the Champions League round-of-16.
