TheSportsRush brings Manchester United vs Everton highlights as Mourinho’s side registered their first win since the comeback against Newcastle.
Manchester United secured another three points in the Premier League, and a second consecutive league win at Old Trafford, as Jose Mourinho’s side emerged 2-1 winners over Everton.
Manchester United began the goalscoring in the first half when Paul Pogba scored on a rebound after a penalty was given to the side.
The side doubled their lead in the second half when Anthony Martial scored a terrific goal from a delicious pass from Paul Pogba.
However, a poor challenge by Smalling in the second half led to Everton equalizing through Gylfi Sigurdsson.
For the rest of the game, Everton dominated possession but failed to break through a tight Manchester United defence. Romelu Lukaku was brought on for Marcus Rashford for the final 25 minutes but missed another easy chance towards the end of the game.
Manchester United have climbed up to 8th position in the league and will now face Bournemouth next week in the league.
Here are some of the best tweets from the game:
Sigurdsson was going to do a Pogba run-up too, but Gylfi feet have got no rhythm.

Pogba needs to cut out the “fancy” bollocks. That flick was so unnecessary. He’s so good he doesn’t actually need to do that. Just control the game. That doesn’t mean play safe, it means cutting out flamboyance for the sake of flamboyance.

Typical.
Pogba being a donkey again and Smalling couldn’t jockey Sigurdsson.
A basic defensive rule u learn in the juniors.— Sav (@jonmikesav8) October 28, 2018
WHY POGBA You finally get some praise from souness then you do a stupid lob and help set up a counter attack for an everton goal #muneve pic.twitter.com/ES7EX7fi6g

Pogba stupid and Smalling both at fault there. No idea what Pogba is doing and Smalling has played for United for years, why is he diving in there? Things like that are not Mourinho’s fault at all.

Low in confidence is alright but how do you forget basic footballing skills. Lukaku has regressed exponentially this season

Lukaku’s confidence is non-existent right now.

Lukaku’s emergence felt too early, if anything, given how fluid United were with Rashford supplementing the attack. That miss is inexcusable. ‘You fat b*****d” Everton fans chant. #mufc

I’m going as Lukaku’s first touch for Halloween

Imagine the amount of assists Pogba would be on by now if Zlatan & Lukaku didn’t bottle so many chances.

Terrific finish from Martial. So much talent, so much potential.

Mata off for Herrera? Sigh. At a time like this, instead of shutting up shop and inviting pressure, I wish we’d push for the 3rd which would guarantee the 3 pts.

The look of wonderment on the ballboy’s face after he had seen Anthony Martial score perfectly captures the sheer brilliance of the Frenchman’s goal against Everton #mufc pic.twitter.com/rIgVAhokDU
