Manchester United vs Huddersfield highlights: Pogba scored a brace as the side registered another win under Solskjaer.
Manchester United continued on their brilliant goalscoring form against Huddersfield as Paul Pogba scored a brace in a 3-1 win.
Nemanja Matic opened the goalscoring in the first half through a corner, while Paul Pogba scored a brace in the second half to secure another three points for Manchester United.
However, David de Gea was denied another clean sheet as the side conceded a goal in the 88th minute of the game.
With this win, Manchester United bridge the gap with the fourth-placed Chelsea to five points. However, the Blues are yet to play their game against Watford, which is scheduled later tonight.
Here’s how Twitter reacted to United’s win:
Brilliant to see Gomes coming on. Decent effort on goal too. This is exactly what we should be doing. Play attacking football, get the game won, then bring on players from the greatest academy in the country to get them ready. It’ll never catch on 😂

Manchester United enjoy their festive season with a second successive Premier League win. Style of football seems to be much more to how supporters like, also Paul Pogba, a player not good enough to play in the club’s biggest game of the season, looking to be excelling.

Hearing rumours Manchester City have noticed the recent success Solskjaer is having at United and are thinking of hiring their own legend Richard Dunne, most notably known for scoring the most own goals and having the most red cards in the Premier League.

I hate people who exaggerate but under Olé Solskjaer if we don’t win the Champions league, the FA Cup, the Grand National, the boat race and the Ashes I will be disappointed

Noticeable how high and wide Solskjaer wants his full-backs. Fred getting instructions from Phelan to get the ball out to Dalot quicker. Solskjaer constantly pointing forward whenever he’s on the touchline.

Attacking football, not sitting on a 1-0, Pogba, Angel Gomes, De Gea save, excellent subs etc, I’ll take that.

Pogba was bloody immense today 👏🔥

#MUFC finishing a Premier League match we’re winning comfortably at Old Trafford with four youth-team products piling forward in attack – Gomes, Rashford, Pogba and Lingard. Bliss!
