Mason Greenwood Signs New 4 Year Deal At Manchester United

Mason Greenwood Goal Vs Bournemouth: Manchester United prodigy extends lead for the Red Devils with a glorious strike.

Mason Greenwood once again astonishes fans with a thunderous strike against Bournemouth to safeguard the lead which could have been slipped with Manchester United about to conceding two goals prior to it.

Both teams were tussling for the ball outside Bournemouth’s 18-yard-box, but Nemanja Matic manages to keep a move alive after a bit of pinball in the area.

The ball falls to Greenwood and, after skipping away from Ramsdale, the youngster slams a fantastic right-footed finish into the top-right corner giving Manchester United a 2-goal lead in the game with 37 minutes of regular time to go.

The goal was under suspicion of offside, and a VAR check was made, but the system found it to be clean and eventually awarded the goal to Manchester United.

The Red Devils after this picked up momentum and further dominated the game, Bruno Fernandes added into the lead with a phenomenal free-kick in the 59th minute.

Marcus Rashford was also about to add another goal to the tally and register a brace in his name, but he was unfortunately caught offside by the assistant referee and even VAR supported the original decision despite the marginal call.

With this goal, Greenwood takes his tally to 14-goals in the Premier League this season. Moreover, this win further boosts Manchester United’s chances to end their season in top-4 with Leicester City losing points and Chelsea’s upset against West Ham.
