Matthijs De Ligt: Manchester United target De Ligt agree enormous personal deal with Juventus after massive transfer saga this summer.

Manchester United were massively interested in hiring the services of Matthijs De Ligt from Ajax this, as the Dutch sensation aroused interests of several club.

However, the 19-year-old, according to a report by Sky Italia, has agreed a personal agreement with Juventus, as the Italian Champions are getting near to hire his services.

The Dutch International had a successful season with Ajax, as under his captaincy, the club won a domestic double. Moreover, he was also impressive with the National side by reaching to the final of UEFA Nations league, but lost the final against Portugal.

De Ligt attracted the interests of major clubs in Europe including Manchester United, PSG, Juventus and Barcelona. All of them promised hefty payments for the 19-year-old, as he is the most exciting prospect this summer.

The Dutch International is further reported to earn around €12 million a season over a five-year contract. Moreover, the Old lady have also set his buy-out clause on €150 million.

Furthermore, De Ligt’s agent Mino Riola has also able to insert a contract termination clause into his contract. Thus, probably convincing De Ligt to join Juventus over the other top European clubs.

Juventus is yet to make an official declaration, but with every passing day, their probability of hiring De Ligt is increasing dramatically. It seems soon both the club will officially declare the transfer.

Manchester United were thinking of bolstering their defense by hiring De Ligt, but him snubbing the Red Devils, Ole Solsskjaer now have to look at the other prospects.
