MCI vs WBA Fantasy Prediction: City’s woeful attacking problems continue to bog the club down.
Up against Manchester United at the weekend, a match where City have given it their all across the last couple of seasons, Manchester City were uncharacteristically off their game. Their was a clear lack of appetite from the club to go out hammer and tongs to win the tie, a club which unlike to its true nature was willing to settle for a draw.
It saw us be indulged in a rather drab and lacklustre derby encounter, a fixture which did no favour to the stature this contest holds. Both the clubs shared the one point apiece in the 0-0 draw with either side doing little to even feign interest in going for a win.
The result was a testament to the kind of campaign City are undergoing with the side’s attack failing to click as a unit this season. Its what makes today’s encounter a much cherished one for the club with them coming across one of the worst defensive setups in the league.
Probable Winner
Suffering their second win on the spin to sink into 19th place, West Brom are edging closer to the drop this season. While the season still has a long road to run, the club’s horrid displays see them being discounted as a relegation affirmed setup, a team City will end up schooling today.
Team News
City’s Garcia attributes his absence today to an ongoing injury problem.
Conor, Hal and Matheus are all injury concerns for this tie.

MCI vs WBA Fantasy Prediction
Goal-keeper
Despite being left deserted by his defenders, West Brom’s Sam Johnstone has tried everything to try and propel his side’s defence and stave shots.
A winter warmer against the Baggies last time we met at the Etihad ⚽️
How will it go down tonight?

Defenders
Having now kept three cleansheets on the spin in the Premier League, Manchester City have clearly been on the uptick in defence where they have waned as a defensive setup. The club has not put one step wrong at the back off late, a club which should have little qualms in refraining a sorry West Brom from scoring.
It sees us rope in Kyle Walker, Ruben Dias and John Stones from the side for the day’s clash. West Brom will meanwhile see us opt for Darnell Furlong given the wingback’s two assists.
Mid-fielders
Despite City offering little in attack the last time around, if there was any player who looked likely to break the deadlock for the club, it was Kevin de Bruyne. As ever, he was the most enterprising name for his side, a player who pulled off an electric showing for his team.
Ferran Torres looks set to get a match today and with a goal in his last Champions League outing, he becomes a must have pick for us. CDM Rodrigo Hernandez will complete our picks from the side.
West Brom see their top scorer with the two goals, Conor Gallagher make a foray into out setup with Romaine Sawyers being his partner.
Strikers
He’s failed to make up for Aguero’s absence but Gabriel Jesus was lively the last time around, a showing which could see him finally break his rut today.
Captain and vice-captain
Kevin’s two goals and six assists make him our captain while Walker is the vice-captain.
Fantasy team
Sam, Walker, Ruben, Furlong, Stones, Kevin, Hernandez, Conor, Torres, Sawyers, Jesus.
