Mercedes tease new ‘non-silver’ livery for 2019 F1 season

Mercedes are going to release their 2019 challenger next week and fans couldn’t be more excited.

Toto Wolff has played down Mercedes’ developments for the new season, especially with the new aerodynamic regulations kicking in, but that has been the case for all 5 years when Mercedes have absolutely dominated the circuit.

Now, while the intricacies with respect to the engine unit can only be known during testing in Barcelona, the livery launch is something that the fans are looking forward to.

Mercedes have had a silver coloured livery for sometime now, but according to the social media post released by the Mercedes team today, it seems they are now going to do away with the silver colour.

Mercedes could have this ‘weird’ colour combination on their car next season, doing away with their traditional silver coloured livery.

The move would be a massive shift for Mercedes, one that could mean a fresh, new start for the team.

The team however, would be hoping that the livery colour change doesn’t really bring about a change in their fortunes, as Mercedes have been the team to beat in the last 5 years.
