Mercedes thanking intern for taking care of work during Lewis Hamilton celebrations
Lewis Hamilton secured his 5th World title during the Mexico GP, as he managed to secure P4 on race day, making it mathematically impossible for Vettel to overtake him in the driver’s championship despite there being two races left in the season.
Vettel was lauded for his wonderful gesture post the race, wherein he left the post race interview midway to go and congratulate his rival Hamilton for a fine season of F1 driving.
He then also made it a point to visit the Mercedes garage so as to congratulate the engineers and the entire Mercedes team on a fine team effort.
Celebrations would have gone wild in the Mercedes camp post the win, as Ferrari had the superior car for a large part of the season, but couldn’t really take advantage of it.
Now, when the boss parties, it is generally the intern that has to do the brunt work and that is seemingly what happened at Mercedes post Hamilton’s victory in Mexico.
Mercedes today put out a post thanking their intern for the work carried out by him during the team celebrations.
The Intern came up with a poster to thank himself while the team was busy celebrating Lewis’ success.
