Mumbai Indians are performing extremely well in this IPL and have been consistent for a change. They are already on 14 points with 3 matches to go. They would be confident of finishing in the top two and having two cracks at the playoffs.

Top-order
Rohit Sharma showed signs of form with a brilliantly crafted 67 which earned him the Man of the Match award. This will come as a huge boost to the Mumbai Indians as Rohit’s form is crucial to they success. Sharma would look to continue his love affair with the Eden Gardens and score a big one here.
Accompanying him would be the swashbuckling Quinton de Kock who would look to make use of the weak KKR bowling to get some runs. Suryakumar Yadav has been decent with the bat and know the Kolkata pitch well since he is an ex-KKR player. He would use his experience to get some quick runs.
Middle-order
Ishan Kishan is expected to be back in place of Evin Lewis in order to adjust an overseas pacer in the team. He would want to cement his spot. Krunal Pandya and Kieron Pollard have blown hot and cold and would want to get among the runs before the critical playoff matches.

Hardik Pandya has been excellent with the bat and has given many big finishes to the Mumbai innings. He should look to continue that.
Bowlers
The Eden Gardens will help the pacers a lot. Hence, it is expected that Jasprit Bumrah and Lasith Malinga would play a huge role in this match. They should bowl some together lengths and give no width to the batsmen.
Jason Behrendorff should also come in with his pace and swing likely to make a significant impact. Rahul Chahar has been brilliant and would continue to lead the spin attack along with Krunal Pandya. Anukul Roy would be unlucky to miss out after a good performance.
