Minecraft has had a history of collaborations. However, this time, it is the opposite party making the move. Dr. Stone is one of the best Anime in recent times. It promotes a healthy outlook on science and has referenced countless anime in its multiple seasons. In the first episode of Season 3, Dr. Stone’s creators paid homage to Mojang’s Minecraft by showing us a blocky sequence of Senku and friends exploring around! Twitter went rampant as soon as they saw this reference. Let us take a look at what the fuss is about!

Look at the above image! We see a blocky Senku explore the wildlands with his friends in this image! Does this mean we are going to get some in-game content related to Dr.Stone? We do not know for sure, but it is fun to see that the developers of the anime are giving as much fun as Mojang. Dr. Stone’s Season 3 brings back old characters and allies while also introducing us to newer villains.
However, fans of Minecraft and Dr.Stone should have been the first ones to notice the blocky animation style in the episode. Those who did went rampant. Take a look below.

This Twitter user referred to both the anime and the game as peak and we agree. Therefore, the comment saying, “peak referencing peak.”

We are equally surprised as them regarding this crossover. Both of these pop culture icons are popular and equally loved here at SportsRush!

Minecraft is an open-world game and is based on building and making sure that you progress by making structures. Dr.Stone has the same plot somewhat since Senku bands together with his friends to bring back civilization from the brink of extinction after the petrification beam turns everyone into stone.
It is surprising how much Dr.Stone is similar to Minecraft in the sense that both pop culture icons are based on building and surviving the wild. Dr.Stone Season Three is out now and it will see Senku and his friends explore the world by building a sailing ship. Will a collaboration with Mojang follow this reference? We will find out in the near future! You can watch Dr.Stone on Crunchyroll. For more Minecraft-related content, click here!
