Miralem Pjanic on Pogba: The Juventus midfielder has talked about Paul Pogba’s potential move to the Italian side.

Paul Pogba’s transfer speculation has been one of the most heated topics in the football world this season. The Frenchman joined Manchester United two years ago, but has majorly suffered with inconsistency during his time at the club.

His situation at the club became worse after a video of his argument with coach Jose Mourinho during a training session surfaced on social media.

Both Mourinho and Pogba, on occasions, have voiced their criticism against each other. The Frenchman was eventually dropped against Arsenal last week, and Mourinho stated that the player needs to prove his quality against Valencia in the Champions League game this week.

Meanwhile, the Italian media is closely following Pogba’s situation at Manchester United. After Donato Orgnoni, the agent of Mattia de Sciglio stated that Pogba’s transfer to Juventus could happen, Miralem Pjanic has further fuelled the speculations.

Miralem Pjanic on Pogba:

The Juventus midfielder stated that Pogba’s transfer to Juventus is a ‘dream’ for the club’s fans.

“It’s the dream of our fans,” Pjanic said. “The club has signed some amazing players and are thinking of improving the team even more. He would be welcome again here.”

Pjanic’s comments come after Italian media outlet Tuttosport reported that Juventus are closely monitoring Pogba’s situation at Manchester United.

The French midfielder featured against Juventus twice this season, in the Champions League group stages. However, he insisted that he is ‘at home’ at Manchester United.

Pjanic also talked about Juventus’ objectives in the season.

“The treble is a dream and an objective for us. When I arrived the President showed me a picture took after Juventus’ fifth successive scudetto. He told me we should have done more. We did it but it’s not over now,” Pjanic said.

Earlier, Mattia de Sciglio’s agent, Donato Orgnani said that the player could come back. “He could come back, but I wonder: then who will leave to make space?” he said.

What next?

Manchester United will return to action as they take on Valencia in the Champions League group stage. Mourinho’s men have already qualified in the round-of-16 of the tournament, and the manager confirmed that Pogba and Andreas Pereira will start in the game.
