Mohammad Kaif takes a sneaky dig at the 16-year-old sensation from Pakistan Naseem Shah, who shocked the world with his lethal bowling.

Mohammad Kaif takes a sly dig at the 16-year-old bowling sensation from Pakistan over where he highlights an old tweet mentioning the young bowler to be 17-year-old.

The tweet which was claiming Naseem 17, posted by Pakistan Journalist Saj Sadik one year ago. Mohammad Kaif hilariously reacted over the tweet, he wrote, “Looks a terrific prospect. But is 16 now, ageing backwards I think”.

This has brought age issue at the front in Pakistan once again. Last time, when Pakistan’s cricket was under foray for age controversy, it involved Shahid Afridi, who mentioned his real age in his book ‘Game Changer’.

According to the book, his age is much different than the age he used at the time of his cricketing career. Thus, with this, Kaif has certainly aroused attention and suspicion towards the bowler’s real age.

The Pakistani bowler has drawn praises from all over the world for his undeniable talent. The 16-year-old bowler made his debut this week in the ongoing Test series between Pakistan and Australia.

The young bowler showed his potential in the test match at Gabba stadium, where his lethal pace made him viral on the social media, and fans across all the cricket nations were curious about Shah.

While watching his bowling, it was clear that the youngster made David Warner and Joe Burns uneasy on the field with his extreme pace. Further, it took him only 7 overs to take his first international wicket.

At first, everyone thought that Shah is too good for his age and with this accusation by Kaif, the Pakistani bowler is certainly around age controversy on the social media.
