More than 40,000 Galatasaray fans turn up for unveiling of Radamel Falcao

Galatasaray fans were in full force following the signing of Radamel Falcao. 

Turkish club Galatasaray signed Radamel Falcao on a free transfer this summer. The Colombian received an exceptional welcome from the Galatasaray fans, who are in full voice currently.

The striker, who lastly played for AS Monaco, had an exceptional welcome in Istanbul airport. Plenty of fans stood in the queue to give him a taste what Turkish fans are all about.

When the former Manchester United striker was set to be announced inside the stadium, more than 40,000 fans turned up for this breathtaking occasion. Not only the fans were in full voice, but the striker also upped the ante by keeping the crowd going with his gestures.

The supporters went absolutely crazy after the Colombian led their chants.

Falcao also received a warm welcome when he landed in Turkey to sign his contract.

Thousands and thousands of fans turned up at Istanbul airport to greet the ex-Manchester United and Chelsea star and the scenes were crazy.

The former Atletico Madrid striker signed for AS Monaco in 2013 for a reported 50 million. He scored 83 goals in 139 appearances for the French outfit and even won the Ligue 1 under Leonardo Jardim.

The 33-year-old signed a three-year contract with the Turkish club and will earn a net spend of £4.5 million.
