In the most shocking turn of events after signing a new deal, which increased his buy-out clause to £1 billion Cristiano Ronaldo has started looking out for clubs to sign him away from his current suitors Real Madrid. The Portuguese striker has been arguably one of the best players in the world and has helped Real Madrid to three UCL titles in the time he has spent in the Spanish capital.

The reason that popped out from the multiple reports was that Ronaldo is incensed with the tax authorities investigation into financial misdemeanours. As recent as the last week, the Portuguese striker was accused by Spanish prosecutors of defrauding the country of nearly 15 million euros from his image rights through illegal sources.

The anger has led the star to look out for a move away from the Spanish capital with multiple sources reporting that he has already communicated this to Real Madrid’s President Florentino Pérez, saying that it is an ‘irreversible’ decision.

Evading Tax and questions, Ronaldo?

The Portuguese, who is currently away with the Portugal National team has been accused of defrauding the Spanish Tax authorities of 14.8 million euros from image right income.

Asked about the allegations by sports news show Deportes Cuatro as he left Portugal training on Wednesday, Cristiano replied simply: “Clear conscience”.

It is further to be seen if the reports from Sky Sports on Friday was right, with the news portal tweeting that:
BREAKING: Cristiano Ronaldo wants to leave @realmadrid because he does not want to play in Spain any more – Sky sources.

It would not come as a surprise as reports of Ronaldo leaving the Spanish capital has been doing the rounds since past two seasons, with the Portuguese having won all possible titles during his stint with the Spanish giants, and given his age Real, too would be looking forward to selling the striker at a high price.
