Mumbai Indians respond to fan’s enquiry over Jasprit Bumrah’s alleged exclusion from the IPL team and joining Royal Challengers Bangalore.

On the occasion of the Indian festive season Dhanteras, Mumbai Indians owners hosted a pre-Diwali bash at Jio World Centre. The pictures from the festival went viral online.

The event was attended by several Mumbai Indian players including Yuvraj Singh, Hardik Pandya, Rohit Sharma, Zaheer Khan along with their head coach Mahela Jayawardena and other players.

Mumbai Indians took to their official Twitter handle and posted a picture which had a majority of their team players, support-staff members and its owners.

Amidst all of this, one star was missing and it was none other than India’s topmost bowler Jasprit Bumrah. His absence surely was pointed out by several people and one fan even tried to troll the team on social media.

After watching the picture, a fan replied to Mumbai Indians post and asked a question, ” Where is Bumrah” taking a dig over the pacer’s omission.

He asked if Bumrah is changing his IPL team to Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore, and wrote, “Where is Bumrah? I think he is changing to RCB?”

Mumbai Indians did make a response to his alleged claim of Bumrah switching his team with a GIF image of skipper Rohit Sharma telling him to keep calm as Bumrah is going nowhere.

Presently Bumrah is out of action after he sustained a back injury, which is keeping him out for a while. The Indian bowler is out of the country to seek his treatment in the UK. Thus, making his absence from the party obvious.

He was not also included in the squad to play against South Africa and will also be absent from the series coming against Bangladesh in November, in order to fulfil his recovery time.
