Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets have not been an easy team to beat in a long time. They weren’t it when Michael Porter Jr. and Jamal Murray were out injured. However, with Jamal Murray ready to back up the Joker on the court, they are a very scary team.

And yet, here LeBron James and the Lakers are, having made this a comfortable victory in the 4th, with the final score standing at 108-126. Despite Anthony Davis going down with a foot injury.

The Brow was later able to put weight on his injured foot, so things might break favorably for the Lakers there.

Aside from that slight downside, this was obviously a very fruitful game for this team. But, the celebrations don’t stop there.

LeBron James becomes the oldest player to score 30 points or more in three consecutive games since Michael Jordan

Skip Bayless is likely getting prepped with yet another Michael Jordan-LeBron James comparison segment for his show already.

Jokes aside, to be able to score 30 points or more in the NBA at 37 years old alone is a mean feat. But doing it as consistently as LeBron James is doing is incredible.

And while that statline may have been a tad easier to come by against lottery-bound Detroit. But to do it against Boston and Denver in the other two games is worthy of some serious applause.

But while James has done it just 2 weeks before his 38th birthday, how old was Michael Jordan when he did it?

Yes, Michael Jordan was with the Wizards when he pulled his feat off.

And during that time, he was in the final year of his career, at 39 years old.

As much as fans groan at MJ’s years in Washington, Michael Jordan’s willingness to play till he was almost 40 years old was nothing close to human.

Then again, what part of him ever was?
