Pistons swingman Rodney McGruder caught a lot of backlash from Draymond Green and Klay Thompson for his antics after their game on Saturday.

McGruder was in action for the final six minutes, 24 seconds of the blowout. He headed toward the Warriors’ bench after the buzzer, straight for Juan Toscano-Anderson, apparently questioning a comment the Warriors’ two-way player directed toward Wayne Ellington during the first half.
His aggressive demeanor caused Klay Thompson to react acrimoniously while reporting from the sidelines:
“Oh no this dude might be out of the league soon, he might be mad about that – who knows? This guy is trying to start s**t like he’s a good player or something, like bro, get out of here. You might be……alright, alright, we’re done.”

In the post-game presser, Draymond Green went on a long and extremely entertaining roast of McGruder:
“When the f— did Rodney McGruder become the tough guy on the team?” Green said. “I don’t know, man. Everybody in the league is tough these days. It’s crazy. I’ve seen a lot of tough guys this year. I don’t understand it, and don’t nobody do anything. Like if you really wanted to do something, you could’ve done it.”
“Get the hell out of here. F—ing tough guy, Rodney. Rodney, f—ing tough guy. Also, I’m rocking with Juan T. Juan T was about to bring that ‘Town Bizness.’”

At the end of his long-winding tirade that will be definitely replayed for a long time, Green ended with a parting swipe:
“I don’t know man, there’s too many tough guys in this league today. But I know one thing, ain’t nobody scared of no damn Rodney McGruder!”
