"Alonzo Ball": Dwyane Wade gets roasted for the hilarious gaffe of addressing Lonzo Ball by the name of Heat legend Alonzo Mourning 3 times

Dwyane Wade committed the unforgivable sin of calling Lonzo Ball by the name of his former teammate Alonzo Mourning – thrice – last night.

The Tuesday crew for TNT games returned to the studio last night. Up until this point, they’d been doing alright for themselves, but Dwyane Wade’s shocking performance may change the narrative.

The Miami Heat legend addressed Lonzo Ball as ‘Alonzo’ 3 times during yesterday’s TNT broadcast. By the second time, Candace Parker had caught on, and began ribbing him for it. This hardly prevented D-Wade from messing the Pelicans guard’s name up for the third time.

Dwyane Wade and Candace Parker praise Lonzo Ball and Pelicans youngsters

New Orleans currently has a roster that can correctly only be described by the phrase ‘spooky’ – if we go by NBA Reddit. There is a ton of young talent – apart from Brandon Ingram and Zion Williamson, the Pels also have Lonzo Ball and Josh Hart. All of these young guns have contributed immensely to the Pelicans’ resurgence after a 5-10 start to the season.

The team has won 4 straight games on the bounce now, improving to a 11-12 record and throwing their hat among the fringe playoff teams. Prior to the game, Candace Parker talked about how Lonzo Ball, among others, has been motivated by his new role.

The Pelicans will next face the Bulls, Mavericks, Pistons, Grizzlies and the Blazers in their next 5 games. They have the talent and chemistry to land Ws on all 5 outings if they continue to click.
