The Golden State Warriors haven’t started out their 2020-21 NBA campaign in the way they thought they would. They suffered embarrassing blowout losses to the Brooklyn Nets and the Milwaukee Bucks to start the season.
This was coupled with news of Marquese Chriss being out for the season with a broken leg. The silver lining to the Warriors’ horrendous start to the season has been their crunch time victory over the Bulls, where Damion Lee drained the game winning 3.
It was in this game that Steph Curry managed to enter the ‘2500 3-pointers made’ club. It’s one of the most exclusive clubs to be a part of in the NBA. It has just three players: Ray Allen, Reggie Miller, and now, Steph Curry.
Reggie Miller congratulates Steph Curry, Curry responds
Reggie Miller, who had drained 2560 3s in his illustrious career, took to Twitter to congratulate the 2x MVP for his accomplishment. The Pacers legend highlighted that Ray Allen and himself were waiting on Curry achieve this feat.
Steph Curry responded to Miller’s congratulatory tweet and said, “Much respect! Always looked up to you and Ray. Hopefully more to come.”

Steph made his 2500th 3 after going 5-15 from beyond the arc against the Bulls. The Davidson graduate is merely 32 years old and will most definitely be looking to catch up to Reggie Miller and eventually Ray Allen.
It is only a matter of time before Steph Curry is crowned with the mantle of “most 3s made in NBA history”. Interestingly enough, Kyle Korver is only fifty 3s made away from joining Curry, Allen, and Miller in this sharpshooting club. Steph is already the all-time playoff leader in 3s made.
