Anthony Davis is quite the private man. While he does have social media, he never tweets on Twitter with his last tweet coming in June of 2022. He deactivated his Instagram as well prior to the Los Angeles Lakers’ Playoff push. The question of his ethnicity comes into play due to him not ever posting any pictures of his extended family online, making fans unsure of what his ethnic background is.

‘The Brow’ married his girlfriend, Marlen P, as they had been dating since around 2016 or ’17. The exact time of them getting acquainted with one another isn’t known. They did however host a baby shower for their daughter, Nala, in late 2017 and have been married since September 2021.
As for what nationality and ethnicity Davis is, it’s very well known what both of those are for the All-Star.
Anthony Davis and his ethnic background
Anthony Davis was born in the United States of America and his nationality is American. His ethnicity is African-American as both his parents are of the same ethnic background as well. His mother, Erainer, is 6’1 while his father, Anthony Davis Sr, is 6’3. Clearly AD got the long end of the stick when it came to his genes.

Basketball and athletics run in his family as his twin sister and older sister both played collegiate level basketball. His cousin, Keith Chamberlain, played basketball in Germany and so it’s obvious that Davis was destined to take to basketball hardwood at some point during his life.
After being drafted number one overall by the New Orleans Hornets, it’s safe to say that he lived up to his potential to the fullest. Fast-forward 11 years and Davis is 30 years old and leading the Lakers to yet another title run in 2023.
Anthony Davis went off against the Golden State Warriors
Anthony Davis posted up the first 30+ point, 20+ rebound, and 5+ assist Playoff game by a Lakers since Shaquille O’Neal did it nearly 20 years ago. Davis is finally living up to the expectation that was placed on him when he was first traded for by Rob Pelinka and crew.
They wanted him to carry the torch from LeBron James and become the number one option on offense and anchor their defense. With the stats he put up in Game 1 against the Warriors in their 117-112 win over them to go along with 4 blocks, it looks like he’s coming into his own during this postseason.
