"Anthony Davis won a fake ring": Suns forward Jae Crowder appears to subtly take shots at Lakers' 2020 championship ring

Phoenix Suns star Jae Crowder found liking a tweet saying Lakers stars Anthony Davis’s championship ring is fake.

It may have escaped most NBA fans, but Jae Crowder and Anthony Davis have run into each other an often lot lately. The two players have been very important pieces in their respective franchises for the last couple of years. And, given their skillsets, they are matched up against each other quite a bit as well.

Until now, there has been no documentation of any real beef between them. Even in flare-ups, these two veterans are known to keep it relatively professional and do pretty well to avoid any off-the-court drama.

But well, it seems there may have been some changes there in recent hours. And while Jae Crowder may have instigated it, both stars are smack-dab in the middle of it.

Jae Crowder likes a tweet accusing Anthony Davis’s championship of being undeserved

There have been quite a few incidents in recent weeks of players liking tweets that hate on other players. But frankly, none of them are as perfectly timed as this one.

Ahead of game-3 of what has been a stellar Suns vs Lakers series, Jae Crowder was caught lacking in 4K. And let’s just say, the Brow isn’t going to like it.

Yep, Crowder really went there.

While there has been no massive explosion between the two players, you could definitely see why things add up here. Between losing to AD in the finals, and the ahem accidental kick to the groin, it makes sense that the Suns star would start to get a bit sick of him by now.

And, again, with this all happening ahead of the next game in the series, we could be expecting some major back and forth between these two players.

An already fun series continues to grow more interesting.
