RDCWorld1 and Mark Philips have outdone themselves once again with a video mocking Dillon Brooks for calling LeBron James old. The video is a parody of the Grizzlies’ locker room after their 40-point loss last night.

The LA Lakers advanced to the second round of the NBA playoffs with an emphatic 125-85 Game 6 win. While LeBron and Anthony Davis were definitely in their element, the entire team turned up for the home game after a flat Game 5 performance.
On the other hand, Ja Morant had an extremely terrible closeout game performance, going 3-of-16 from the field to finish with 10 points. Fellow trash-talker and teammate Dillon Brooks also had 10 points on 4-of-11 shooting.
The circumstances of the Grizzlies’ twin failures are especially hilarious considering their big talk this season. While Morant said the Grizzlies were ‘fine in the West’, Brooks positively had us in splits with his wild talk about LeBron following their Game 2 win:
“I don’t care — he’s old. You know what I mean? I was waiting for that. I was expecting him to do that Game 4, Game 5. He wanted to say something when I got my fourth foul. He should have been saying that earlier on. But I poke bears. I don’t respect no one until they come and give me 40.”
Ja Morant, Dillon Brooks get trolled by RDCWorld1
Mark Philips and his RDC World squad are known basketball fans and have often done NBA-related skits in the past. Their video on the Sixers’ locker room after their 2021 playoffs exit is replete with hysterical references.
But they may have one-upped themselves with this amazing (fictitious) representation of the Grizzlies’ morale last night. The way in which Ja Morant and Dillon Brooks are shown feuding with each other is pure comedy.
“Anybody know how old LeBron is?”
“Ja, are we fine in the West?”
The ending section with Kyrie Irving walking into their locker room to make his free agency pitch is the cherry on top. Irving and Brooks are both going to be unrestricted free agents this summer.
LeBron James and the Lakers were trolling in the locker room as Dillon Brooks no-showed
The Memphis Grizzlies have famously used the chant ‘Whoop That Trick’ since 2013 as a rallying cry. It served them well as fans chanted it aloud during the Grit-and-Grind era.
It also seemed to be doing fine when they used it against the Timberwolves last year. However, losing to the Warriors in the following round left them with eggshells on their face.
The Lakers took it to the Grizzlies’ chest by loudly chanting the same words from their locker room after their 40-point win last night. It serves as a reminder for this young squad not to get too full of themselves this early.
Lakers are in full troll mode after beating the Grizz 😅

Dillon Brooks, meanwhile, left the locker room even before their game ended. Presumably, he did this in order to avoid fielding questions in his exit interview from the series. He’s clearly demonstrated himself to be someone who can’t take the heat of his own words.
