"Are Marcus and Larsa Pippen Behind This?": Fans Question Scottie Pippen's Latest 'Horrible' Michael Jordan Take

It’s no secret in the NBA community that Scottie Pippen hates Michael Jordan with all his heart. Since the release of ‘The Last Dance’ documentary, we have seen Scottie’s GOAT shift from his former Bulls teammate to LeBron James. So, it makes sense for bias to be the reason Pippen now exclaims Jordan wasn’t very good at all before he was brought in to help MJ out on the Bulls. And of course, this only serves as a precursor to the Larsa Pippen controversy.

Michael’s son, Marcus Jordan has been dating Scottie’s ex-wife of 23 years (looks like that number ‘23’ will always haunt Scottie), Larsa, for the past few months. And when added to everything else already going on, that could be a major reason for his most recent debacle.

Scottie Pippen claims Michael Jordan was horrible, and LeBron James is the greatest

In a ‘Die Hard Chicago Bulls Fan’ Twitter page clip, that has stormed the internet, former Bulls All-Star who won 6 NBA championships playing beside the game’s arguable GOAT, Michael Jordan, said he was ‘horrible’ before Pippen joined him in Chicago.

“I saw Jordan play before I came to play with the Bulls. You guys saw him play. He was a horrible player. He was horrible to play with. He was all one-on-one, he’s shooting bad shots, and all of a sudden, we become a team, and we start winning and everybody forgot who he was.”

Scottie also said that James is the greatest statistical player and that there’s not a greater player than the Lakers superstar.

“LeBron will be the greatest statistical guy to ever play the game of basketball. And there’s no comparison to him. None. So does that make him the greatest player to ever play the game?” Pippen said on Stacy King’s Gimme the Hot Sauce. “I’ll leave that up for debate because I don’t believe there’s a great player because our game’s a team game, and one player can’t do it.”

Pippen getting back at it again and again, must have something to do with Larsa and Marcus. The internet sure seems to believes so.

NBA Twitter blasts Scottie for calling the 6x Finals MVP ‘horrible’

Jordan was already 3x All-Star, 2x All-NBA selection, and a scoring champ before Pippen arrived in the league. Of course, he also not only made his first All-Defensive team after Scottie’s arrival but also won the Defensive Player of the Year in their 1st season together.

So, if anything, arguably the only credit he can take is for making MJ a better defender. Nothing else.

NBA Twitter was there to set Pippen straight for his horrendous take.

“Hate to see Scottie going out like this,” one user wrote.

Another asked, “A question for Bulls fans. Is it cringe for you when you hear Scottie Pippen speak of Michael Jordan this way?”

“Pippen always crying bout sum,” said the third.

Some thought he was just getting angry because Mike’s son stole his wife.

“Are Marcus and Larsa behind this?” one user asked. Given how Scottie Pippen has been in the last few years, who knows?
