“Ben Simmons has cut off communication with everyone in the Sixers organization”: DPOY candidate hints at his wish to join Steph Curry, Klay Thompson on the Warriors
Ben Simmons of Philadelphia 76ers is no longer communicating with the organization and wants to reportedly join the Warriors.
Ever since entering the league, Ben Simmons has been one of the best defensive players in the league. Moreover, he formed a formidable duo with Joel Embiid. The two stars have carried the 76ers for the last four seasons, but it seems like their partnership will end soon.
Despite being a fabulous team around the two superstars, the Sixers have failed to even make it to the Conference finals. This led to many fans questioning if it is time to blow up the Simmons-Embiid experiment. Well, it appears that the future of this duo is bleak at best.
Simmons has recently been linked with a move away from Philly. Many reports have ruled the Warriors as Simmons’ prime target to begin the next chapter of his career.
Ben Simmons to the Warriors?
A few weeks ago, Simmons’ move away from Philly was nothing but rumors. However, the situation is more serious than the organization initially predicted. According to Philly reporter Jason Dumas, Simmons wants to join the Warriors.
Dumas tweeted, “Ben Simmons has cut off communication with basically everyone in the Sixers organization. Everything is going thru his agent, Rich Paul. Ben is open to going to the GSWs though he doesn’t have much leverage in the situation.”

This is a clear indication that Ben Simmons doesn’t want to wear the Sixers jersey in the upcoming season. But the question remains, can he actually be traded to the Golden State Warriors?
Well, considering the fact that Philly reportedly wants at least four first-round picks coupled with more assets for their All-Star, the move seems unlikely. Unless the 76ers organizations lower their demands, it is hard to see Simmons join forces with Steph Curry at the Chase Center.
Do you think Ben Simmons will join the Golden State Warriors this offseason? Or is it just a bit too far stretched?
