NBA Insider reveals bizarre reason why 76ers guard Ben Simmons doesn’t want to play with the Blazers or the Raptors

What can we really say about Ben Simmons that hasn’t been said already?

At this point, the NBA community is completely sick of him. Some have even questioned what is he doing in the NBA at all. Fans are one thing though, and your relationship with your team is another thing altogether.

Reports from reliable sources have confirmed that the 76ers don’t want him anywhere near the roster anymore. And of course, as a result of that, there have been trade rumors about the player.

Given how low his stock is right now, you’d think the player would be ready to go just about anywhere to redeem himself. But nope!

Recently, Jason Dumas of Bleacher Report came in on a radio segment with 95.7 The Game in Philadelphia. And here, he revealed some, frankly, infuriating details about the personality of Ben Simmons.

“Being the young socialite that he is, he’s not looking to go to any of those situations”: Jason Dumas reveals Ben Simmons’s approach to the offseason

You know, until Ben Simmons’s world crashed to pieces, there had always been reports of the player being babied by everyone. But, as fans, we all just dismissed them completely at the time. After all, if he was playing at a high standard, what’s the problem?

Well, now there most certainly is one. Despite playing as horribly as he did in the postseason, the player believes he is still in a position to make demands from the 76ers. Here is what Jason Dumas said about the whole situation.

“He doesn’t want to go to a bad situation… He’s reading the tea leaves. He sees Toronto, he sees Portland, and then, being frank being the young socialite that he is, he’s not looking to go to any of those situations. He’s looking to go to the California teams.”

Reports have further suggested that the star is very interested in a move to the Golden State Warriors. Now, if only he was this confident and arrogant about his game, there wouldn’t be a problem.

At the end of the day, we really don’t think the Warriors will want him. And given that the 76ers want far too much for him anyway, we could just see the player stay in Philly this offseason.
