"Boston Celtics will beat Washington Wizards": Charles Barkley pulls on his 'Guarantee' button for the second time during Eastern Conference play in tournament

Charles Barkley screams out who he believes will be the winner of Celtics vs Wizards, and the Inside Crew simply can’t stop laughing.

Charles Barkley is easily one of the most lovable sports analysts on television today. However, while the NBA community can’t get enough of him, his predictions on different games and series are a completely different story.

The former player has famously made some awful projections, most famously bringing out the broom last season when the Blazers took game one against the Lakers. Of course, the latter went on to finish up that series in 5 games and went on to win the championship.

Even tonight, his forecasting woes have continued. His prediction of a Hornets win couldn’t have been more off the mark. Despite all his misfortune, however, he made yet another bold prediction on tonight’s edition of Inside the NBA. And the rest of the Inside Crew just couldn’t believe it.

“Boston Celtics!!!”: Charles Barkley voices his prediction on who will win the second play-in game

Charles Barkley jinxing the team he supports has become a bit of a theme in recent times. With that in mind, perhaps both the Wizards and Celtics players weren’t at their most comfortable, ahead of Chuck’s decision.

Jokes aside though, this game was also speculated to be a very close one. However, when the time came, there was no hesitation in Barkley’s voice. Take a listen.

“Boston Celtics! Boston Celtics!!!”

Tough luck Celtics fans! Perhaps it’s time to start looking forward to next year.

Or maybe not! The franchise looked by far the most dominant team on the court during the first quarter before the Wizards caught up in the second. At the time of this being written, the score stands at 52-54, in favor of the away side.

The game is very much in the balance right now. And it will be very interesting to see which team can go that extra mile to take this game.
