NBA Insider reveals that Wizards star Bradley Beal could be looking to leave Washington as soon as this off-season.

The Washington Wizards were a massive revelation during this past regular season. After a frankly abysmal start to the campaign, the franchise more than just recovered in the second half. With Bradley Beal and Russell Westbrook spearheading the team, they obtained the 8th seed in the play-in tournament.
That said, the Wizards are by no means a powerhouse. They aren’t weak at all, but suffice to say, they will falter against the bigger teams. Their series defeat of 4-1 against the Philadelphia 76ers only serves as a massive example of this fact.
Bradley Beal is clearly one of the best offensive players in the NBA right now. But, due to the franchise’s inability to put the right supporting cast around him, he has been involved in countless rumors.
The player has always said he wished to stay in Washington every time these were brought up to him. However, his answer on the topic in a recent interview will seriously worry Wizards fans.

ESPN writer Tim Bontemps reveals Bradley Beal chose not to reveal were his long-term future lies
Bradley Beal has told fans on multiple occasions that he loves the city of Washington. And, oftentimes, that alone has been enough to keep him committed to the Wizards, despite outside interest.
However, it seems the player is worried about how he spends the prime of his career. Reports have said for a long time, that if the Wizards couldn’t put a strong team around him, he could leave very soon. And now, despite having Russell Westbrook alongside him, ESPN writer Tim Bontemps recently tweeted this out on the topic.
Bradley Beal is asked directly about whether he thinks the Wizards have shown him enough to commit to the organization long-term. And while he praises Scott Brooks and the way the season went, Beal declined to answer either way whether Washington was the place for him long-term.

Given the 180 Beal’s answer on the topic has taken as time has gone on, this is officially the time to enter panic mode for the Wizards. And if the star puts in a trade request as well, you best believe there will be teams ready to give up what’s needed to acquire the player.
All in all, we may have just witnessed Bradley Beal’s last season as a Washington Wizard.
