"Brittany Renner scams athletes for easy pay because they don't wear condoms": NBA Twitter wildly speculates that PJ Washington could be paying $2.4 million annually in child support

Charlotte Hornets forward PJ Washington is dealing with unsubstantiated rumors that he’s due to pay Brittany Renner $200k in child support every month.

Washington announced his relationship with Instagram model Brittany Renner in the middle of 2020. The couple seemed to be going strong, welcoming a child together in May this year.

However, they’ve fallen apart in the intervening period and have split up, leaving Washington’s son’s custody rights up in the air. The Hornets forward was apparently unable to meet his newborn son until recently.

NBA Twitter never fails to add insult to injury when a player suffers through misfortune of this kind. They began pointing out some stuff from his ex-girlfriend’s past.

Renner seems to have revealed in the past that she had casual relationships with a ton of well-known athletes. The name of infamous Nike athlete and former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick was thrown around as well.

Washington is being berated for his taste and choice in women given this publicly available information about Renner. In the video below, she can be heard saying:

“The worst people to deal with are athletes. None of them use condoms really. So, if y’all want to try and come up off a check from a man you could just hook an athlete. They’re really dumb.”

A relatively happy update on this situation is that Washington was able to meet his son a few weeks ago. And he’s posted several updates on his own Twitter that seem to indicate that he’s in fact NOT paying $2.4 million in child support annually.

This rumor caught a ton of traction at the start of the month as details of Renner and Washington’s split grew public.
