Charles Barkley got a taste of his own medicine on national television as George Clooney found an ingenious way to troll the Hall of Famer.

When we talk about sports on television, no show across the spectrum can touch the legacy of Inside the NBA. Many morning sports talk shows have tried to, but they fall way below these standards.

What sets Inside the NBA apart from the rest of its competition is its complete lack of inhibition. Shaq and Charles Barkley, in particular, might as well be swearing aloud given the candor they display regularly.

The presence of pacifying influences like Ernie Johnson is necessary to keep the insanity of the show in check. Especially given the propensity of Kenny Smith to ignite feuds.

George Clooney sends Casamigos bottles for everyone except Charles Barkley

Casamigos tequila is an upcoming Diageo brand that was started by George Clooney in the year 2013. The Hollywood legend has been quite successful in growing the brand – it was declared the fastest-growing alcohol brand of 2022.

Casamigos also became the first sponsor in over a decade for EJ’s Neat-o-Stat of the Night 2 weeks ago. Kenny Smith had jokingly demanded a 20-bottle case from the company on the broadcast that day.

George Clooney obliged Kenny’s jocular request on Stat of the Night tonight, sending a bunch of presents with handwritten cards for the Inside crew.

Shaq and Kenny got nice compliments – ‘You’re the real Superman’, ‘You deserved that Emmy nomination’. Ernie Johnson also received one. However, Barkley got the short end of the stick, with a card reading ‘Charles, I’ve seen you play golf’.

While the other 3 got full bottles of tequila, Barkley only got 3 taster bottles as his present. Needless to say, the 60-year-old was peeved by the $500 million man giving him the cold shoulder.

Barkley used to have a terrible golf swing

Charles is an avid golfer, even spending days between NBA Finals games on the golf course alongside Michael Jordan. However, he lost his touch a few years after making his only Finals series.

Barkley developed an ugly hitch on his swing, to the point where MJ couldn’t bear to play with him anymore. However, it seems that Barkley has gotten rid of the hitch, according to recent footage.
