Kendrick Perkins says he is confident that Chris Paul will end up on the Lakers and Rajon Rondo on the Clippers by next season.
The NBA hasn’t had a single trade go down in almost 10 months. Due to this, the NBA rumor mill has been working overtime to churn out great trade scenarios for stars around the league.
Everyone from Bradley Beal to Gordon Hayward, to even role players like Tristan Thompson have created buzz about their potential landing spots, come next season. CP3 and Rajon Rondo have recently been in the trade scene as well. It was understood when Chris Paul made his way to OKC that he wasn’t a part of their long-term plan.

It would make sense for OKC to move Paul and in return acquire younger talent. Rondo has also been linked to Lakers’ rivals, the Los Angeles Clippers this past week.

So piggybacking on the Rondo to the Clippers and CP3 to the Lakers rumors, Perkins made a prediction on both the veteran guards’ fates.
Perk said, “I think the Lakers are going to land Chris Paul. I think Rondo is going to the Clippers. We all know how great of friends LeBron and Chris Paul are. I think he’s going to be a Laker. I can see it happening right now.”
