“Kyrie Irving Is Harder To Guard Than Ja Morant”: Warriors Star Opens Up About Struggling To Defend The 2 All-Stars

In the past couple of weeks, Ja Morant has jeopardized the image of his franchise and the NBA as a whole in a worse way than Kyrie Irving ever did. The Grizzlies point guard, after recently showing a gun on Instagram Live will be out of action for at least two games.

If the 23-year-old himself is to be believed, he would be out for a few more days seeking professional help. That is the right thing to do, given he has gone on from being the best youngster (since 2019) in the NBA to the most disliked one in a few months.

The 2x All-Star is so good at his craft that he has one of the best-selling jerseys in the league and a Nike signature shoe. To put that in perspective, Jayson Tatum got his Jordan line after Ja. Speaking of Nike, fans are now wondering how could Nike sell Morant sneakers and not Irvings.

NBA Twitter calls out the hypocrisy of Nike with Ja Morant and Kyrie Irving

Nike is the biggest sports goods company that holds the major market in most of the top sports in not only the States but all across the world. The $33 billion apparel brand has several superstars in the NBA under contract as well, with their own personal line of products.

Irving lost his deal after he got himself into anti-semitism trouble earlier this season. That decision by Nike didn’t receive much Heat at the moment it happened.

However, fans are angry now about why Ja still has a deal with the sports apparel giant and not Kyrie.

It might be all downhill for the Grizzlies from here

In their last game against the Nuggets which ended with a scoreline of 113-97, the Grizzlies didn’t just lose the game but three of its important guys.

While Ja will be out at least for 2 games until further investigation, Dillon Brooks will be out for their next game against the Lakers, and Bradon Clarke for probably the rest of the season.

They had already lost their consistency in winning games since Steven Adams got injured, but the next couple of games might just make them lose it for good.
