Days After Calling Himself TMDE, Shaquille O’Neal Appears To Agree With Damian Lillard’s ‘Best Player’ Selection: “Nikola Jokic”

The NBA is a league full of talented individuals. However, there are some that shine brighter than the others, and are often considered as the best player by all the others. For Damian Lillard, the mantle belongs to Nikola Jokic right now. Shaquille O’Neal saw the same comments being shared by the Blazers’ superstar and decided to announce the same further. Now, having reminded everyone he’s TMDE recently, Shaq shared the post on his Instagram stories, making people wonder what Shaq feels about the current situation.

Out of all the ‘superstars’ in the NBA, only three are left in these playoffs: Nikola Jokic, Jimmy Butler, and Jayson Tatum. Out of these three, only Jokic has a Finals berth fixed so far. Here’s how Shaq endorsed what Dame had to say.

Shaquille O’Neal endorses Damian Lillard’s Nikola Jokic comments

With the Blazers not making to the postseason, Damian Lillard has had quite a bit of time on his hands. We’ve seen him make rounds of all the podcasts one can think of. Then we’ve seen him and Mikal Bridges look close over the summer. Another thing that Dame likes doing is going live on Instagram and interacting with his audience.

Not too long ago, Dame claimed that Nikola Jokic is the best player in the NBA on one such rant.

“Joker might be the best player in the league… Smart as hell, he can shoot, he pass, he play team ball, he care about winning, he humble, he stay true. I like how Joker do his thing.”

This post was also shared by NBA on ESPN on their Instagram.

Shaquille O’Neal saw the same and maybe resonated with what he heard. He shared the same on his story as well.

It’s clear that Shaq finds some of what Dame says agreeable. Calling someone the best isn’t a common practice for Shaq, but when he does, he means it.

Shaq recently called himself TMDE

Shaquille O’Neal has always insisted that he be remembered as one of the most dominant instead of one of the greatest. Keeping the same in mind, Shaq recently shared an Instagram post where there were highlights of him being dominant on the basketball court.

There was never any doubt about Shaq’s place on the most dominant list. However, reminders like these keep the memory fresh in the eyes of the viewers. They also help beat the ‘overrated‘ argument when brought up by guys like Charles Barkley.
