"Dillon Brooks' Act is Getting OLD": LeBron James Nemesis Roasts Grizzlies Guard For Coming Short On His Challenge For Lakers Legend

The Los Angeles Lakers are back home after playing their first set of playoff games since 2021. Taking on the #2 seeded Memphis Grizzlies, the Lakers won Game 1 in grand fashion, before dropping Game 2 without Ja Morant. LeBron James and co. couldn’t replicate their Game 1 success on Wednesday. They fell short to the Grizzlies 103-93.

After the game, Dillon Brooks was feeling rather too good about himself. He spoke about NBA Royalty, LeBron James, after the game.

This is a statement that did not sit right with a lot of people. Everyone wanted to know what LeBron felt about the same. As expected, the King was asked about the same after practice today.

NBA Twitter worries for Dillon Brooks after LeBron James talks to media

LeBron James is one of the biggest athletes across the globe. He has accomplished a lot in the NBA, and is the reason why he’s known as a superstar. However, the comments Dillon Brooks made about Bron made it feel like he couldn’t care less about the accomplishments.

We all saw what happened when Klay Thompson mocked LBJ after Game 4 of the 2016 Finals. The fans expect something similar this time. After the practice, this is what Bron had to say.

While LeBron’s comments seem very nonchalant, his attitude sure makes fans fear for Dillon Brooks’ safety.

LeBron’s stats vs Dillon Brooks in 2 Games

In the two games played in the series, LBJ has been guarded by 7 players.  Dillon Brooks has guarded LeBron James for the most amount of time, standing at 12:52 minutes. In that time, LeBron has scored 26 points on 11 of 18 FGs(61.1%). He’s also assisted on four more baskets without turning the ball over even once.

From the stats itself, we can see that Brooks has given Bron no trouble. I guess Game 3 is going to be a trial by fire for the Grizzlies’ guard/forward.
