Very few NBA players are able to play till the age of 35. It’s pretty difficult to be in your 16th NBA season and still keep up with the fast-paced league. At 35-years of age, Chris Paul still has a lot of gas in his tank.
Wade took it to Twitter and let all the Suns’ doubters know that, despite being 35-years old, Paul still has a lot of game in him. Wade wrote:
‘Let’s not sleep on 35 year old @CP3 (Chris Paul) !! My guy got a lot of juice in the tank and he’s doing it every night.’

Paul had a fabulous game-winning performance in the encounter against the Mavericks. Paul scored 34 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists, leading the Suns to a victory 109-108.
Veteran point guard Chris Paul has aged like fine wine this season
The 10-time All-Star has been averaging 16.6 points, 8.7 assists and 4.8 rebounds in his 16th NBA season. He hasn’t seemed to slow down despite his age.
Apart from being the leader on the court, Paul has really stepped up and influenced the young players on his team. His backcourt counterpart Devin Booker referred to him as “the cheat code”. Paul spoke about the excitement he had while playing games. He said:
“I was telling the guys in the locker room that I don’t know if I can ever retire because the emotional roller coaster that you go on during a game – like for real, for real – there’s no high like that.”

If the Phoenix Suns manage to keep up their level of play, they will be a team to reckon with. The Suns have a decent record of 11 wins and 9 losses. This puts them on a well deserved 6th spot on the Western Conference.
