This Christmas, basketball fans were treated to a big-time matchup between the Golden State Warriors and the Memphis Grizzlies. A match that has a lot of history and bad blood behind it. Draymond Green was armed and ready for it.

It got particularly heated during last season’s Playoffs; when the Warriors showed the Grizzlies who’s boss in the Western Conference semi-finals.

Soon after a number of Grizzlies’ players vowed revenge, including Dillon Brooks. Unfortunately, the 6’6″ guard was left red-faced as Draymond Green and the Dubs ran riot at the Chase Center.

Draymond Green shows Dillon Brooks just how many rings he has as Twitter trolls the Grizzlies for a Christmas day loss

The heated rivalry between the Warriors and the Grizzlies was renewed on Christmas as the two teams met at the Chase Center. The Grizz were looking for revenge this time around but came up short.

A 109-123 loss sent Memphis back home in tears. Not to mention, NBA Twitter let them have it as fans began trolling guard Dillon Brooks with a picture of Draymond Green “supposedly” showing him the number of rings he has.

Green himself clarified on Twitter that he wasn’t actually doing that. But, he did note that it is a fact.

It didn’t end there though, as the tweets kept rolling in. Completely annihilating the Grizzlies and Brooks.

Jordan Poole, Klay Thompson, and Green gave a “Curry-less” Warriors the win against Memphis

Prior to the match, many wondered if the Dubs would stand a chance against the Grizzlies. Especially considering they did not have Steph Curry. However, 32 points from Jordan Poole, 24 from Klay Thompson, and a double-double from Green was more than enough to get the job done.

With a 14-point win, the Warriors take their record to 16-18. Not exactly the best right now, but with Golden State, anything is possible. They will definitely be looking to make it back to the Finals and defend their title.

Ja Morant did have a great game, however, it wasn’t enough. The Grizzlies are still high up on the ladder though and this will be nothing but a minor blip.
