Having Helped $2.5 Billion Donut Company Rebuild a Franchise, Shaquille O’Neal Shares Charles Barkley’s Hilarious Obsession Video
LA Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal has a net worth of nearly $400 million. Among his many investments was a Krispy Kreme store on Ponce de Leon Avenue in Atlanta. After the store was burned down by an arsonist in 2021, O’Neal revealed plans for a rebuild in January 2023.
O’Neal’s long-term friend and TNT colleague Charles Barkley is also well known for his love for Krispy Kreme donuts. Shaq recently shared a hilarious video via an Instagram story celebrating Barkley’s obsession with Krispy Kreme. The video was shared on National Donut Day which is celebrated on 2nd June every year.

Charles Barkley is known far and wide for his love of Krispy Kreme. His love for food and his fondness for the Krispy Kreme franchise is often revealed on TNT.
Over the years, he has been caught enjoying many Krispy Kreme donuts on the show. The former Houston Rockets star once ate a total of 12 Krispy Kreme donuts in a single day.
O’Neal shared a hilarious video referencing some of the most hilarious Krispy Kreme references that Barkley has made over the years. In the video, he can be seen claiming that Krispy Kreme has the best donuts in the world.
Known for his endearing and wholesome personality, the video paints a love story between Barkley and Krispy Kreme. This includes the time when he claimed that Krispy Kreme donuts were “one of the greatest inventions ever.” The original reel was shared by “gfxbyjo” on Instagram, before being posted by O’Neal as a story.

O’Neal and Barkley have been close friends ever since their playing days. The two constantly poke fun at each other which has led to some hilarious moments over the years.
Both O’Neal and Barkley are big food enthusiasts, and neither of them generally lets go of a chance to make fun of the other. An example is when O’Neal attended “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”, back in 2022.
Asking about his eating habits, O’Neal claimed that he loved food, but not as much as his friend Barkley. The Round Mound of Rebound generally finds his opportunity to hit back and appears to be in much better shape compared to before.
He recently revealed that he had lost 57 pounds after trying a mystery drug called “Mounjaro.” O’Neal, who himself has been working out of late, might have to find new avenues of making fun of his friend, considering Barkley’s progress.
